Forgiveness is a mental act where one is ready to dwarf the ego and reach out to another person sympathetically. The act of forgiveness gives peace and peace of mind and allows one to enter a place of introspection and personal soul-searching. When we are ready to forgive, we allow ourselves to give up energy fixation and move on in our lives to places of happiness and joy. Forgiveness releases us from old energies that lower and fix us in the past. The very act of forgiveness allows us to release these energies from within us. Their release gives us the opportunity to breathe a sigh of relief and open up to newer energies and experiences.
